My forehead and nose are ridiculously dry, to the point of peeling. But I have topical acne (Not the deep kind) along my jawline and under my cheek bones. I’m trying to find a good skin care regimen that will treat my acne without drying out my skin even more than it already is. Any suggestions?
I do not think I am old at all, but I was told that beginning to care for my skin now will reduce signs of aging 10 or so years down the line. But, most anti-aging creams/regimes are marketed for people who are already in the more advanced aging process.
Any recommendations on some natural things remedies or good RELIABLE skin products for someone my age trying to prepare for wrinkles and such?
Thanks!
Like many women, i have been breaking out really bad since I got pregnant, and the cold weather and wind doesn’t help very much either. What facial scrub and moisturizer do you use that is safe to use during pregnancy? I’ve heard that Aveeno is really good, I would just like to get some advice before I spend the money on something, since that stuff is expensive. Thanks a bunch!
I’ve been working out consistently for about a year, but my weight loss has been really slow. I’ve only lost about 15-18lbs. I’ve also changed my diet and started eating a lot healthier. I haven’t been intaking much protein and I believe that is a reason why my weight loss has been slow. How much protein should I take to speed up my weight loss? Are there any recipes, shakes or vitamins I should be taking?
I workout at least 3-4x a week. On average I’m at the gym for 1hr. – 1.5hrs. I’ve been attending the RPM & Body Pump classes at least 2x a week. On the other days I’m doing cardio and weightlifting. I also do resistence training.
I have what you call "combination skin". Some parts of my face are dry, flaky, and oily. I also have blackheads and sensitive skin. I’ve tried St. Ive’s, Noxzema, Clean & Clear, and Dove, but they made my skin irritated. Can you please tell me a facial cleanser that is good for my skin type? Or maybe a homemade scrub or peel mask?
…I am a professional speaker on the topic? I advocate the use of these lifestyles, therapies, and products for health, wellness, and slowing the aging process. I definitely practice what I preach. I use/do everything I recommend in my speeches. I am in my mid-50s and look (and act) much younger.
I know that I am a walking promotion for my speaking business and that my appearance and behavior validates my expertise/opinions in the audience’s eyes. Therefore, I have to believe that my personal use of vitamins, supplements, and other alternative therapies should fall under the category of a business expense and be tax deductible. I am told by colleagues that this is "probably" true, but no one can give me any hard data to back up that claim.
If you agree (or disagree), can you give me the references I would need and could use if the tax deductions are ever challenged by the IRS.
Thank you for you help.
My skin seems to be acting up a little bit due to the weather. I have fairly normal skin, not excessively oily or dry. What’s the best product to keep away blemishes? I wash my face everyday in the shower with Wet and Wild skin care, but that’s obviously not working. Thanks!
I would like to know specifically what supplements to help aid weight loss for Bipolar people on weight gaining Bipolar medication (which slows the metabolism and increases appetitite)
I already know of Green Tea to speed up metabolism and suppress appetite and Acai Berry DOES help you look a bit thinner in the face and relieves minimal bloat if taken moderately.
What other supplements are safe?
I want as much help as i can get!
Thanks!
I don’t have bad acne, I just have frequent breakouts because I play lots of sports. I need to know the best acne facial cleanser that works, but not proactiv because I can’t afford it. What other facial cleansers work well and get rid of acne?
I want to buy my mom a very good anti aging/wrinkle cream. She has just bought a very expensive cream, and it just so happens that its doing nothing at all to help her out. Which anti aging/wrinkle cream have you used that has made you really see results?
